Hi Arlin,
Can you replace 'fastlinq' by 'QL4xxx series of converged network adapters'?

Also, qedr's iWARP support is upstream already but in OFED 4.8-1 RC3 it isn't in the kernel (only in rdma-core).
As discussed at a prior meeting, we will add it to OFED 4.8-2.
Please remove iWARP indication.

If you'd like, I can send a patch on top of this one.

OFED 4.8-1 GA release update....

I assume RC3 testing is going well; no new issues reported on EWG or Bugzilla so I would like to package up GA tomorrow if possible. Once complete, I would like to immediately move onto OFED 4.8-2 and add EL7.4 and SLES12.3 backports. Maybe I am being overly optimistic but I would like to finalize OFED 4.8-2 GA by end of year if possible.

A release note patch is attached that includes all changes highlighted below in the minutes.


Vlad, please apply these changes and update for GA.



Everyone, please review these final changes and send modifications to Vlad.

     *   iSER target question; why is it not included?

        *   Due to the lack of maintainer support it was removed, revisit next OFED release.

     *   NFS-rdma question; what distro's are supported?  limited to SLES12.2 and RH7.3

        *   Cavium will test.

     *   Thanks to everyone for making upstream rdma-core stable branch happen so quickly!

        *   Big win for OFED and other distro's!



*        OFED 4.8-1 RC3 status
