If SM dies and the SM Bit is kept

Does not this mean we need a kernel component help, to make cleaning
IsSM in a robust fashion?"

[EZ] If SM dies and the SM Bit is kept as 1 (set) - the impact on the subnet
is minimal. The first SM to be run should query SM-Info on the port that has
the SM-Bit set. Since there is no SM there will it will never get an answer
- I.e. the SM dies.

So I do not see this as a high priority issue.
