I think it would be better as something like
gen2/trunk/src/tests, gen2/trunk/tests, gen2/trunk/src/utils, 
or /gen2/trunk/utils so it is all in one place and can be
obtained with a single checkout.

Would there be an issue if it was under src ? Would this cause
some submittal problem ?
