I still see this issue with your patch:
unregister_netdevice: waiting for ib0 to become free. Usage count = 2

The patch also seems to break loopback. Did you test it in that
configuration?  This is the patch I used:

I plan to look at this whole issue sometime later, for now I'm
trying to concentrate on the zcopy work.
