[openib-general] module refcounting

Hi!
It seems currently I am unable to remove the ib_mthca modules
if opensm is running.

# lsmod | grep mthca
ib_mthca               85408  0
ib_mad                 31528  3 ib_sa,ib_umad,ib_mthca
ib_core                48128  5 ib_ipoib,ib_sa,ib_umad,ib_mthca,ib_mad

opensm &

# lsmod | grep mthca
ib_mthca               85408  9
ib_mad                 31528  3 ib_sa,ib_umad,ib_mthca
ib_core                48128  77 ib_ipoib,ib_sa,ib_umad,ib_mthca,ib_mad

Since everyone is working with the core only,
I would expect to be able to remove/replace the hardware
driver without taking the sm down.
Are there reasons to prevent this?
