DATACENTER FABRIC WORKSHOP: Join the InfiniBandSM Trade Association and the OpenIB Alliance at the Datacenter Fabric Workshop, August 22 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a reception following.  The workshop will be held in conjunction with the Intel® Developer Forum at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, August 23 - 25.

 

Hosted by the InfiniBand Trade Association and OpenIB, the Datacenter Fabric Workshop will bring together leading fabric developers and users to discuss the future of fabric computing. 

 

Discussions will include RDMA architectures in grid computing, virtualization, storage in RDMA interconnects, interoperability and application interface consistency between stacks and architectures, and the progress of the OpenIB Alliance in delivering Windows and Linux stacks.  Speakers will include representatives from the fabric computing industry including leadership from both organizations.
