Yes, those two points I quoted.  As I said, "the IB communication
management protocol does not carry enough information for a connection
request to be mapped uniquely back to a source address."  So if you're
not allowed to add anything to the connection establishment protocol,
then you don't have enough information to find a source address.
Something has to give.
