[openib-general] Better Diagnostics

Hi,

In order to locate the physical switch port on a chassis based switch,
can the switch vendors (Cisco/Topspin, SilverStorm, Voltaire, Mellanox)
who supply switch boxes where the physical port on the chassis does not
match the port number on the switch document this so a diagnostic can
indicate the actual port number ? Also, is there a way to determine slot
? Is SystemImageGuid used as an indicator that a set of boards are in
the same chassis or is chassis management supported or none of the above
? I look forward to hearing back in order to improve the OpenIB
diagnostics. Thanks in advance.
