When I run:
# ip maddres add 224.0.0.9 dev ib0
I got (dmesg):
ib0: joining MGID 0000:0000:ffff:0000:0000:7eb5:25c0:40f1
ib0: multicast join failed for: 0000:0000:ffff:0000:0000:7eb5:25c0:40f1, 
status -22

And from the SM side:
ERR 1B01: Wrong MGID Prefix 0x00 must be 0xFF
