We will miss the SLES10 GA since it is May 06. I think it is critical to get a beta snapshot of 1.0 release so we can make sure that we get this ready for SLES10 SP1 which is scheduled for later this year.

I understand this concern. There's a natural tension between wanting
the distro vendors to be able to package and ship something and having
that something be reasonably functional and somewhat tested.

I don't know who's even paying attention to any of this at Novell/SUSE,
I'm afraid. I'd certainly welcome their input.
