Its typically a better idea not to put the path in LD_PRELOAD:
LD_PRELOAD=libsdp.so SIMPLE_LIBSDP=1
this way thigns will work for 32 and 64 bit apps

Hmm, this could happen if the libsdp.conf isnt found or isnt readable.
It might be a good idea to make libsdp fail in this case. I'll put this on my
list.
