I have built binary RPMs for the following distros and arches, based on
the availability to me of suitable hardware at the time.

      * Fedora Core 4, x86_64 and i386
      * Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4, x86_64
      * SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9, x86_64
      * SUSE Linux 10.0, x86_64

All of these packages can be installed using the yum package manager.
Simply set up a file called openib.repo in your /etc/yum.repos.d
directory, with contents like this:

        [openib]
        name=OpenIB for Fedora Core $releasever - $basearch
        baseurl=http://openib.red-bean.com/fc$releasever/$basearch
        enabled=1
        gpgcheck=0

In the Subversion tree, there's a new directory called
scripts/buildrpms.sh, which is what I used to build everything.

If you want to contribute builds for your preferred arch and distro, I
will host them at the URL above.

Known problems with this release:

      * The udev config files needed to automatically manage /dev
        special files are not installed by any package.
      * opensm and srptools are not available for some distro/arch
        combinations, due to build failures.

NOTE: Some package names and contents are subject to change in future
release candidates.  Please do not expect anything that you see to be
frozen in stone.

not available for SUSE.  Due to some build weirdness, OpenSM is not
available for SLES 9 or FC4 i386.  otherwise, this is it:
