The write of the "test string" to /proc/krping will block until the test
is complete or the ioctl is interrupted. So this...
echo "server,test=rping,addr=192.168.69.131,port=9999" > /proc/krping
will block until you hit ctrl-C.
You can also specify an iteration count.
