Hi, Matt -

We have temporarily dropped support for ipath_ether from our kernel.org
submission, and will be removing it from the Subversion tree within the
next day or two.  It requires our userspace SMA to be running, support
for which we have also temporarily dropped.

As a result, if you want to use ipath_ether, you must install our
InfiniPath software RPMs and make sure that the infinipath service gets
run during boot.  You should not encounter any problems in that case.
If you do, please bring them up with <support at pathscale.com>, and we
will be happy to assist you.
