My initial reaction is that I don't like this, since it makes it
harder to keep the kernel ABI files in sync between libraries and the
kernel.  Does overriding offsetof() really cause any problems?  Does
including <linux/types.h> break anything?

I assume there's more to be fixed to make libipathverbs work, since it
doesn't export the right driver entry point either.
