OK, I just pushed out a "vex" branch with these patches in it.

I noticed that you put your code under ulp/vnic -- that seems a little
too generic to me, given that this is one particular proprietary vnic
implementation.  Maybe something like ulp/qlvex or something like
that?  And similarly for the config options -- probably something like
CONFIG_INFINIBAND_QLOGIC_VEX would be better to avoid clashes.
