I think to add symbolic links named '~user' in /pub/scm which will point
~user/scm directory for users who wish to see their trees via gitweb.
With such naming scheme we will keep both gitweb's http:// and git://
URL pathes identical.
Currently just let me know - I will create such symbolic link.
Of course any comments about naming convention or gitweb configuration
approaches are welcomed.
