[ofa-general] OFED install check-buildroot failure

Hi,

i tried several OFED version (1.2.5.2, 1.3-alpha2 and 1.3-daily-builds)
on fedora core and they all have the same in common: the install.{pl|sh}
fails with the following error:

one strange thing i can see is, the *.ko files contain strings like:

/var/tmp/OFED_topdir/BUILD/ofa_kernel-1.3/drivers/infiniband/core

this is why check-buildroot fails.

Normally *.ko should not contain any hardcoded path like this, right?
Why does this happen? Wrong configure/make arguments?
This is on Fedora Core 8 with distribution kernel 2.6.23.1-49.fc8.
