Tid mystery is solved. Our emails crossed. Qkey is received as zero. I sent the default qp1 value. The agent registered for get+set+send but only received sends.

It depends on whether the methods are already in use or not. If not,
they can coexist.

Not sure what you mean by clobbered. Does the TID not follow the rule I
just sent you ?
How is QKey being set/used ?
