[ofa-general] MVAPICH_GCC seems incompatible with (RedHat)gcc-4.1.2-44

I am aware of the available RedHat packages which I have explicitly
excluded from being installed. I am in need of a pure OFED based stack.
At this moment the install.pl is not even trying to build it...
