Hello Guido,
In order to start mvapich_gcc and mvapich2_gcc compilation, install.pl
expects to find gcc, g77 and gfortran installed (in the path) on the server.

Please make sure that the following command return correct path to these 
binaries:

which gcc
which g77
which gfortran
