[ofa-general] XRC / Libibverbs

HI,

I was wondering why in libibverbs XRC is implemented as patches and not directly in the code?
Are there compatibility problems?
Latests qperf can't be build even with the latest libibverbs as it requires XRC defines which do not exist (except if you manually apply the patches) which is not a good thing IMHO.
