[ofa-general] Registering physical memory region

Hi,

Is there a way to register physical memory with HCA from a user 
application. Tried mmap to map it to the virtual memory, but ibv_reg_mr 
fails with bad address. The memory region is physically located in the 
IO (PCI) space.
Please advise.
