Somewhere along the line I broke this and then this got put into the
ibnetdiscover patch. This should not even have been here. Anyway, LDFLAGS is
required for the -L I believe?
BTW I am using topgit now to manage all this as we work through these. I
am going to blame this on me not knowing how to use topgit... ;-)
