[ofa-general] What is the difference between forward table "lft" and "new_lft" ?

There are two forward tables "lft" and "new_lft" in  the switch. It seems
that the functions "do_ucast_file_load()" and
"osm_ucast_mgr_set_fwd_table()" only update the table new_lft.  Where the
table "lft" is updated?

Which table does the switch look up when a package is forwarded in switch?
"lft" or "new_lft" ?
