From rsdance at soft-forge.com Tue Mar 6 13:15:33 2012 From: rsdance at soft-forge.com (Rupert Dance) Date: Tue, 6 Mar 2012 16:15:33 -0500 Subject: [Iwg-arbitration-committee] Arbitration Status Message-ID: <00fa01ccfbde$44f23fe0$ced6bfa0$@soft-forge.com> Here is the proposed solution to arbitration requests for the OFA Logo Event which started December 2011 From: Nickolas Wood [mailto:ndv2 at iol.unh.edu] Sent: Friday, March 02, 2012 12:29 PM To: Rupert Dance Cc: IOL OFA Subject: Proposed testplan changes Also note, it is our intention to get the logo list published by next Friday at the latest; our preference is by end of day this coming Tuesday. Right now, our understanding is the following: . QLogic HCAs fail - they do not link with the DDN 9900 at all. This failure is in no way covered by any prior arbitration resolution . DDN 9900 - a warning based on prior knowledge and the inability of DDN to get a resolution out of Mellanox for the installed EOL HCA. . All FDR hardware - will be on a separate beta list with relevant discussion points as to the nature of the problems as well as highlighting the un-ratified state of the FDR spec. . QLogic's 12200 switch - will have a "pass with comments" for link init as well as a discussion about the failure with the managed Mellanox FDR switch -Nick -------------------------------------------------------------------- Nickolas Wood Email: ndv2 at iol.unh.edu HPC Systems Administrator +1-603-996-1899 Technical Lead UNH InterOperability Laboratory OpenFabrics Alliance Consortium -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
