Hi Paul,
>> AKAIK this is simply known as "the 2 clause license"
Thanks for the clarification. It seems "the 2 clause license" is short for BSD 2 clause license ( http://opensource.org/licenses/BSD-2-Clause).

Subject: RE: OFA BSD License for Windows driver
Hi Judy-
Those links are not related to the Windows NVMe driver, those were there before we entered the picture. Adding Jim to the email to comment/forward issues there. As far as the NVMe driver goes, the license is included in the files themselves at the top of each one right after the copyright. I'm not a legal person but I don't think we make an attempt to refer to a version or any other extension of what's below. AKAIK this is simply known as "the 2 clause license". I can hunt down some legal help if needed, let me know if this answers your question
Thx
Paul

Subject: [nvmewin] OFA BSD License for Windows driver
We were wondering what version of BSD the open source Windows driver is licensed under. The only BSD License I can find (see attached) doesn't mention any specific BSD version and also, it says it is for LINUX: "THIS IS THE LINUX STACK UNDER OPENFABRICS BSD LICENSE". Found it in multiple places:
1. OFED BSD License PDF <https://www.openfabrics.org/ofa-documents/presentations/doc_download/40-ofed-bsd-license-pdf.html>
(Download:OFA Documents/Public Documents)
4. Windows License <https://www.openfabrics.org/component/content/article/5-downloads/35-windows-license.html>
(Windows/Downloads)
... released only under the BSD license. You can review a summary of the BSD license here. Download the Windows OFED license. Go to the license agreement form. ...
Also, several of the links at https://www.openfabrics.org/component/content/article/5-downloads/35-windows-license.html are either broken or out-of-date.
Not sure exactly who to direct this to so I'm putting it out on the reflector - sorry for the group email!
Regards,
Judy Brock / Samsung
