Hi Paul,
Wow, it is hard to believe first year has gone by. Thanks for all of your great efforts. Yes, I second Kwok for the next term.
Thanks,
-Rick

Subject: [nvmewin] Chair for 2013 - Nomination
Importance: High
All-
As many may recall, when we setup the NVMe Windows Driver Workgroup we wanted to rotate the roles of Chair and Maintainer to help drive active participation and facilitate change/innovation in both product and process. Well, that first year is up already (hard to believe) and I'd like to propose that we move immediately on a new Chair for 2013 and then shortly thereafter we look at rotating the maintainer role (maybe after a few patches are processed to make sure we have a smooth transition).
I'd like to nominate Kwok Kong to serve as Chair for 2013 and will take anyone's "second" as a confirmation (no need for a vote unless someone actually objects). Kwok was one of the original members of the driver design/development team and has been an active member in both the specification working group as well as the driver working group. I've already spoken to Kwok and he's agreed to take this over starting in Jan.
If I can hear a second out there from someone I'll call a meeting in Jan to transition where our first order of business will be to discuss our 2013 release plan.
Thanks!
Paul
