I am traveling today and will miss the meeting. 

Few comments - expressing my view:

1. No need to call out vice-chair and this is not a requirement by CA law. The board may decide to appoint a vice chair, but the bylaws should cover the positions needed by law - "The Officers of the Corporation shall consist of a Chair or a president, a Treasurer, and a Secretary"

2. for officers elections, 72 hours notice is too small. Its needs to be a week at least if not 2 weeks.

Attached are several proposed motions governing Officers of the Alliance for discussion at tomorrow's XWG meeting.  If we can agree on these, they will be formulated into motions and presented to the Board at its next meeting.
