I've pushed out rc1 for the 1.9 release: https://github.com/ofiwg/libfabric/releases/tag/v1.9.0rc1 The NEWS.md file needs to be updated prior to the final release. I'm also aware of a couple of open issues that will hopefully be resolved prior to the final release. The final release date is targeting the week of Nov. 18. - Sean
