Summary:
2.0 RC 2 went out, GA targeted for 12/13. No major changes expected this week.
2.0 will include support for rxm (verbs, tcp) + shm over lnx provider. To use, set FI_LNX_PROV_LINKS with providers to link. Functional limitations with lnx exist, including no EQ support and noy support for one CQ. Updates expected for next release in the spring.

Notes:
Libfabric 2.0 release update

  *   RC 2 went out, final release happening on 12/13 (end of the week)
  *   No big fixes or delays expected
RxM provider update

  *   Big change in 2.0 to support FI_PEER api and work with lnx provider
  *   To use, set environment variable FI_LNX_PROV_LINKS=shm+verbs to link providers together
  *   Main target is MP - allows MPI to use libfabric shared memory with verbs and tcp
  *   Doesn't work with most fabtests (eq not supported, lnx does not support multiple CQs)
     *   Shi: efa ran into issues with 1:1 CQ mapping for app to HW CQ
Holiday schedule

  *   Jianxin out 12/14-12/29, Alexia around for any issues first half
