* Summary *

Upcoming release v2.2.0 is scheduled as RC1 on 6/1, RC2 on 6/8, GA on 6/15. Code cut-off is two days before the release date.
Jianxin is travelling 6/7~ 6/12. Will still be able to get the RC2 out while travelling, but response to other issues will be delayed.

There are still intermittent hangs observed for the new shm architecture (PR-10817). Shi and Alexia have been working on it.
We would like to get the PR in RC1 if possible.

The fi_rpc API (PR-10965) is still WIP. Undergoing work include adding dedicated recv functions to the API, adding dedicated
protocol ops to the util code and using separated queues for the rxm provider implementation. This won't make into 2.2.0.
