I mentioned this group at the OFA TAC concall on Wednesday.
JIm Ryan (chair of OFA) and Frank Berry (chair of the TAC) are both very supportive.
They want to attend our first meeting to express that support and put out an argument for us becoming an official Working Group within the OFA framework.
That has many benefits, but possibly some negatives.
The only negatives I can think of are related to "formality" and possibly the need to vote in an official chairperson and report to the OFA Board once a month.
... guess you sometimes have to take the bad with the good ... :)

We have received 11 responses on the doodle.
Obviously, we don't have a time slot that works for everybody :-)
Nevertheless, the time slot with a minimal number of conflicts is: Thursday 3PM (EST) / 2PM (CTS)
Do we want take the time slot (i don't have any other better idea) ?

First of all, thanks to everybody for joining the call. I think it was very productive !
Florent posted minutes of the meeting on OFA wiki: https://www.openfabrics.org/mediawiki/index.php/2015-03-30
As it was discussed on the call, there is an interest to have "OFA-Tools" call every two weeks.
I created a "doodle" for our future call: http://doodle.com/wxy3na3847q2pxpt
Based on the doodle we will pick the time slot for our bi-weekly calls (we plan to use the same slot for *all* calls).
For the next meeting we are looking for a volunteer that is willing to make a presentation about some tools.
(I think Susan has an idea for the volunteer).
I think, there is an option to make video recording of the presentation and later on post it on OFA website.
Feel free to broadcast the note within your organization !
Thanks !

Hello Everybody,
This e-mail is a follow up on the discussion about OFA tools at OFW and OFS f-2-f meeting.
A lot of people expressed an interest to have a discussion about
the current state of OFA (and Infiniband particularly) network monitoring and management tools.
(Florent, thank you for getting the list together !!!)
Let's try to schedule the conference call sometime next week.
Please use the doodle link to indicate what time slot will work for you best:
http://doodle.com/c4kp9ymc76sy5ygg
Once we agree on the time, I will be sending out an invitation for the conference call.
(Feel free to forward the email within your organization)
