Hi Fab,
I think we should have WinOF 1.0 as close as possible to the WHQLed version.
This mean zero changes to rev 614 if at all possible. In this case I don't
see a reason to open 1.0 branch.
I understand we may found ourselves forced to check in fatal bug fixes. I
guess if this will happen we will have to open a branch.

Is it time to create a 1.0 branch to separate maintenance from new
development?

Hello,
This are the OF meeting minutes from April 4 2007:
* As release 1.0.0.614 is as close as possible to the WHQLed version
it will be released as version 1.0
* Still missing an installer for this release
* Stan is working on an interim installer based on InstallShield
* Once the installer will be complete 1.0 will be release
* Decided to call the distribution WinOF (Windows OpenFabrics). The
coming release will be WinOF 1.0
* For future releases we must define Release process and working
procedures. Will be discussed F2F in Sonoma conference.
* Need to promote WinOF presence in OpenFabrics.org
* Agreed to have WinOF meeting every 3 weeks during development period
and every week during release period, on Wednesday at 8:30 PST
Best regards,
Erez Cohen
