[ofw] binary release tree location of .inf files?

The INF location should be the arch specific directories. I believe
this change was necessary for WHQL certification, though Erez can
confirm.

Subject: [ofw] binary release tree location of .inf files?

Seems the location for HCA\ & net\ .inf files changed between binary
releases 566 and 614.

http://openib.tc.cornell.edu/downloads/binaries/1.0.0.566/HCA/
  ib_bus.inf

  infinihost.inf

  mthca.inf

http://openib.tc.cornell.edu/downloads/binaries/1.0.0.614/HCA/
.inf files are located in arch specific dirs, although it's the same
.inf file in each arch specific dir.

etc/makebin.bat places .inf files in HCA\, storage\ and net\, not in the
arch specific directories.

Is it safe to assume .614 was errant, with the correct location for .inf
files in the binary release tree to be HCA\ net\ & storage\ ?

Also I noticed that trunk\docs contains early copies of WinOF 1.0
release_notes.htm and Manual.htm.

In favor of keeping a single svn copy of these files, I would favor the
following file location changes:

manual.htm to be removed from branches\WinOF\Wix in favor of
trunk\docs\Manual.htm

release_notes.htm removed from trunk\docs in favor of
branches\WinOF\Wix.

Anyone have problems with this approach?

stan.

Subject: [ofw] Check in 774 - SRP enhancements.

Hi,

Check in 744 includes several performance enhancements for SRP. The
major changes/add-ons are:

1. Add flow management mechanism between StorPort and SRP to increase
SRP BW under heavy stress (workaround to StorPort misbehavior).

2. Add FMR pool support (IBBUS and MTHCA).

3. Add FMR support to SRP.

In addition we modified IBBUS and MTHCA INF to allow installation on
Windows Server 2008.

Please see SVN log for complete details.

Best regards,

Erez Cohen
