I didn't mention this in my patches, but if the maintainers would rather I checked them in, I will be happy to do so upon receiving an ack on the patch.

Either way works for me.  At this point, it would help me if my currently outstanding patches could be applied as it would greatly reduce the diffs that I have to sort through to pull out digestible patches.
