1) The WinOF 2.0 release is based on openib-windows source svn revision
'branches\WOF2-0' svn.1763.
Last WinOF release (1.1) based on svn 1177.
Revision 2.0? Because of changes in user-2-kernel ABI and some kernel-2-kernel APIs.
Applications not included in the WinOF 2.0 release will need to be rebuilt
using WinOF 2.0 header files.
2) Stability enhancements across the board.
IB Core
Nonexistent GUID in registry crash fixed.
IPoIB
HCA hardware TCP/IP checksum offload if HCA supports it.
PathRecord caching for large cluster environments.
SRP
Disconnect hang fixed.
BSOD fixed.
VNIC
DAT/DAPL
3) New Functionality
Windows Server 2008 and Vista now supported:
Digitally signed Installer file (.msi).
Microsoft Network Direct (ND) supported for Windows Server 2008 & Vista;
InfiniBand ND provider.
WDK (Windows Driver Kit) build environment used to construct WinOF 2.0 release.
OS flavors:
WLH - Windows LongHorn (aka Windows Server 2008, HPC & Vista)
WNET - Windows Server 2003 & XP(64bit)
WXP - Windows XP (32bit)
IPoIB:
multicast garbage collector.
Partitioning support - see manual.htm 'part_man.exe'; requires IGMP v2.
IGMP v2 support only; no v3.
LSO (Large Segment Offload) available, enabled if HCA supported.
WinVerbs: OFED verbs API for Windows (technology preview)
4) Kernel mode drivers digitally signed by the OpenFabrics Alliance.
5) Network accessible WinOF symbol store available.

Vista installs require a command window with Administrator privileges.
Double-clicking on .msi file will fail in Vista; for all other OS flavors, double-click on
the .msi file works fine.
Execute this command from a Vista command window 'msiexec /i WinOF_xxx_xxx.msi'.

read the Release_notes.htm file!
make 'sure' your HCA firmware is recent; vstat.exe displays HCA firmware version.
