Hi Ishai,
I don't have the time to rewrite the patch, so the maintainer will need to add the registry flag and whatnot, and then check that in.

I do not see some patches (such as "avoid the sm") in the trunk. What is our policy regarding winof 2.0 branch? Is it subset of trunk or it may have patches that are not in the trunk?
