Hi Stan,

I've checked WinOF RC3 on Windows 2008 x64 with InfiniHost III and
indeed ND fails.
This happened since "Avoid the SM" patch changed IBAT API which ND (and
other clients) rely on.
After installing WinOF RC3 and switching ibndprov.dll to our latest
version (2.0.0.3315), 
Microsoft HPC SDK RC2 works with it (I checked ndping, ndrpingpong,
ndmrlat etc..)
I think that we should find a way to check this compatibility issue
before generating future RC.
(since the source isn't in the tree, one can't compile it with the stack
and see discrepancies).

Attendees: Qlogic, Microsoft & Intel, (Mellanox & Voltaire out on
Holiday)

WinOF 2.0 RC3 released Friday 10-10-08.
RC3 based on what is now svn.1648 (minus ipoib change), RC3 binaries
show svn.1638; RC3 built from 1638 + uncommitted patches, which are now
committed - thus 1648.

RC4 will be in sync with svn.

Please announce when and where patches are committed!!

WinOF 2.0 RC2 & RC3 fail ND SDK tests, while WinIB ND works fine?

WinOF ND binaries are MS version '2.0.0.3140'; WinIB ND are of a later
version.
Qlogic will be supplying newer ND binaries for RC4; constructed from a
WinOF src tree.

Mellanox committed changes to GUID generation patches based on the
assumption that all HCA's in a cluster are likely of the same Vendor;
valid today, possibly not the future case.
Further list discussion required before a final resolution is reached.

RC4 will be generated next Monday 10/20/08 @ 10:00AM PDT, please have
all patches committed to the svn WOF2-0 branch by then!

RC4 announcement will include svn commit number which RC4 was generated
from; svn # is also in release notes.
RC4 was requested to be svn tagged.

Next WWG meeting moved to Wednesday 10/22/08 @ 9:00AM PDT; one time
change, bridge info in following email.
