Hi Stan,
Actually, I would wait until WinOF RC1 is released before spending any time on SRP.
RC1 should be available later today @ http://www.openfabrics.org/downloads/WinOF/v2.0_rc1

Hello Stan,

On August 20th, I sent you a link to the following: http://www.openfabrics.org/downloads/WinOF/certmgr-x64_svn-1478.zip

I was wondering if you used this to test with. If so, it's actually not the official WinOF 2.0 RC0 release. It was more a pre-release that Stan Smith was nice enough to compile for me, but it's missing some critical patches that came after the msi was built. Here is the actual link to the official WinOF 2.0 RCO (dated Aug. 29th): http://www.openfabrics.org/downloads/WinOF/v2.0_rc0.

In either case, I'll try to reproduce your test on WinOF 2.0 RC0.

Please let me know which one you were using and I'll update you on my progress.

Thanks in advance,
Eleanor

I have just had a chance to test WinOF2.0-rc0.

My standard test is, load ib_srpt kernel module from SRPT svn tree, connect initiator and drives and then unload kernel module.

What I get now is a STOP and reboot:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007e (0xffffffffc0000005, 0xfffffadf8d43b33b, 0xfffffadf90e8d4f0, 0xfffffadf90e8cf00).
Hardware is:
Dual ported HP Lioncub (MT2508) 4x DDR
2 Cisco SFS7000 switches & built-in subnet manager.
Windows 2003 SR2 x64 initiators
Gentoo Linux version 2.6.23.9 (gcc version 4.1.2 (Gentoo 4.1.2 p1.0.2)) #1 SMP Tue Jan 15 14:29:36 PST 2008

I could no longer reproduce this problem in Win OF 2.0 RC0. I'll update the PR.

OK - although please leave it open as I suspect we will find it again. Once we are further into validation and prior to release we can close if not witnessed again.

thanks,

stan.

Hi Eleanor,

Could you reproduce the bug with checked drivers and attach the dump to the bug report ? (better - with PDB s of the drivers)
And/or describe, how to reproduce it.
TIA

Leonid

I opened a PR (1142) that involves a BSOD and it points to the IOU driver as the driver at fault. This is assigned this to Leonid who is currently on vacation (and I am too!). Anybody else want to take look at this?

Thanks!
