Hello Alex,
We are on holiday next Monday Feb 16th (Presidents Day), hence will be offline until Tuesday.
Enclosed are the patch files used to patch the current branches\wof-2-0-1 tree.
Pending successful compilation and testing I will commit the files and publish a new WinOF 2.0.2 installer next week.

In addition to the patch you originally sent (MLNX commit 3518 split into 2 patches, OpenIB svn commit #?) the following OpenIB svn commit numbers (patches) were applied to my local WOF2-0-1 branch from branches\wof2-0-1\trunk: (not committed yet)
1760 already in 2.0.1 tree
1761 already in 2.0.1 tree
1765 applied via patch -p0 < 1765.patch
1770 applied via patch -p0 < 1770.patch
1771 applied via patch -p0 < 1771.patch
1772 applied via patch -p0 < 1772.patch
1774 applied via patch -p0 < 1774.patch
1788 applied via patch -p0 < 1788.patch

Patch files were created by finding the svn log entry and selecting 'Create Unified Patch'.
The patch is the differences between the prevision trunk version and the svn log/commit number (example 1765.patch is the diff between svn.1764 and svn.1765 for those files modified in svn.1765 commit).

Did I get them all this time?

thanks for you help.

Stan.

PS: 1842.patch came out broken due to changes in EOL chars in svn. For the file mlx4\bus\net\main.c I had to 'Create Unified Patch' for the specific main.c. eventually after merging the main.c diffs back into 1842.patch it all worked and looked correct.

Yes.
It's even simplier - right click on the specific patch in the svn browser and choose "create a patch/see differences" option.
And you will generate the patch identical to that one published in ofw list.
Then try to apply this patch directly on 2.0.1. Only if it will not success, you can follow your algorithm.

Respectfully Yours,
Alexander Naslednikov (XaleX)

Alex, upon revisiting the .xls spreadsheet I see where I missed some issues; I'm a little under the weather and a bit grumpy this morning - sorry.

Is it sufficient to create a patch using the following algorithm?

  1) find the svn log entry for the identified commit
  2) Identify which files were modified
  3) checkout specific files
  4) diff files against 2.0.1 branch version to generate a patch.
  5) apply patch to 2.01 branch

stan.

Stan,
It not only mentioned in the excel, but was marked as "essential" patch :)
Please, see the original mail attached.

This fix succeeds SurpriseRemoval and Rebalance tests for ConnectX.

Why was this patch not mentioned in the email you sent which was purported to contain 'all' the patches required for WHQL certification?
None the less, send me the patch and I will re-publish a 2.0.2.
