IPoIB NDIS 6 & Connected Mode status
Focus on NDIS code changes for WHQL
Coding is done
Issue with Enabling IPoIB Adapter
Cannot see adapter in init state
Device does become enabled but it is not seen as such.
CM Branch was left unchanged
Must be moved to NDIS6
Will be addressed after primary (datagram) version is completed.
WHQL timeline/status.
A few weeks away from entering formal WHQL process ; functionality freeze occurs when WHQL starts.
Current list of changes have not been moved to main SVN tree
Stan requested changes to be integrated ASAP
Winverbs
WinVerbs and WinMad appear to be working well.
Some corruption appears in stack running one particular application (DAPL rdma_cm )
Not tracked down yet but being actively worked.
IB Diags
Work but require some changes to MAD code.
Some patches applied; some still being discussed
Common OFED DAPL
Should now be common between Linux and Windows
Checked in.
Socket-CM appears to be working fine.
Inline data issue patches were added yesterday
Network Direct over Winverbs?
Not much progress due to other priorities
Not likely for 2.1 release
Network Direct source build
Latest changes required environmental variables to be set; see docs\build.txt.
Does not build for IA64. ND components are not included at this time due to this issue
Will leave it alone for this release.
May require that ND provide its own INF file
Outstanding Bugzilla bugs
Request to mark closed bugs accordingly
Close to a solution for Control Device Object implementation for enable /disable for WHQL
Stan sent solution to 1627 to QLogic
OFA Interop test event results.
Rupert will update team.
Included WinOF 2.0.2
Microsoft participated and setup MS MPI
No winverbs validation suite other than IBDiags, DAPL and perf tools.
Once Network Direct runs over winverbs, ND WHQL tests will exercise winverbs.
Next Meeting: Tuesday, May 26th to discuss a feature freeze.
