Just an update:

So far I haven't been able to trace this down.  I'm not sure that it has
anything to do with mlx4, versus the system I have that card in (older
with only 2 processors).  The memory use isn't consistent run to run,
and with heap debugging turned on, the problem is less likely to occur.
Occasionally, the connection rate also drops to about 60 / second --
with memory usage increasing greatly when that occurs.  (The heap
debugger points to QP allocations not being freed as the possible
'leak'.)  I've also seen the test hang for both the winverbs and ibal
providers, though I have an updated copy of ndconn that appears to fix
this issue.
