[Users] Why OFED have uDAPL ?

I don't understand, why stack OFED had uDAPL,
If it already have OpenFabrics user level verbs, I think if someone uses
uDAPL it will be slower, because uDAPL uses the  OpenFabrics user level
verbs layer.

What is the gain of using uDAPL?
