   typedef void (*ib_mad_recv_handler)(struct ib_mad_agent *mad_agent,

could be


   typedef int (*ib_mad_recv_handler)(struct ib_mad_agent *mad_agent,
                  struct ib_mad_recv_wc *mad_recv_wc);
