Can you post the patch to the list?  If the functionality is needed, I'd like to
queue it for 2.6.20.  Although, I'd prefer if the existing ib_cm_init_qp_attr()
routine were used with state handling instead of adding a new API routine.

And thinking about it more, we might be able to use that call as the indication
to the ib_cm to failover to the alternate path.
