There does seem to be a lot of changes planned for RC4. We have a new
version of Open-MPI, a lot of new SDP features, new RDS code, and a few
other things. I think an RC5 makes sense. We can't go putting a lot of
changes into the last RC so why not use RC4 to get the latest updates
and then have RC5 for only bug fixes (no new features). I guess we'd
have the typical 2 weeks between RC4 and RC5, then maybe a week or two
between RC5 and OFED-1.0. I guess the timing just depends on how many
bugs are found.

By the way, what are the release criteria for the final OFED-1.0?
Maybe there is a doc out there, but I haven't seen it.

Relating to RDS, would having another RC round also help get more of
the RDS features into OFED-1.0 that Oracle is looking for?

  Thanks,
