Agenda:

a. Review main changes from RC2 to RC3:

1.      Bug fixes according to problems reported 

2.      OpenMPI 

3.      Pathscale (ipath) driver 

4.      uDAPL 

5.      ibis included 

6.      Standard network configuration (This may be delayed to RC4) 

OSes where we can't work with the standart scripts due to issues: 

1. Fedora C4 ip reports that the configured IPoIB adress already exists
in the subnet

2. SuSE 10 & SLES - cannot remove modules since they are loaded by the
hotplug mechanism

 

 b. Issues to close:

1.      Sources repository - Agree on the proposal I sent today - OK

2.      Fedora C5 is out - do we need to support it? Pathscale will test
it on Intel & AMD 64 bits.

3.      uDAPL - Who is going to test it? SST may test uDAPL; going to
ask Intel after a mail to the general list will be sent.

 

c. Status update:

1.      RC2 testing status - Each coordinator will report his company
progress 

Todd will sent SST RDS testing status

Voltaire - tested partition part of IPoIB, worked on iSER

Cisco - see email from Scott

Mellanox - see mail from Amit

2.      Compilation of RDS - Bob to send list of kernels that its
working on

3.      Open MPI - package - integration started with no issues so far

4.      Compilation of iSER - a fix was sent

5.      SRP development:

        FMR - implemented - pending check-in of Roland

        Tunable parameters framework - MLX (Vu) - on work

        Dynamic add/remove targets - MLX (Ishai) using the SA is part of
Errata Release Version: 1.2 1/26/2006 Chapter/Subsection: 15.2.5.3,
enable to ask query for all ports that is_dm cabability is set (this
means it is an SRP target). - on work - Ishai & Vu to send explanation
and see this solution is reviewed by all.

        Going to do backport of RH EL4 up3 - Cisco - up 2 is also
important, we will try to do it too.

        Should be ready for RC4

   6.  SDP development - Code complete; under debug; to be in RC4.

 

Open discussion:

*	FW images that the release was tested with: Each company will
send a pointer to location of all FW images that were QAed. This
information will be available in the release notes.
*	Diagnostic tools - Tziporet will send an explanation on the
diagnostic tools in the release.
