What's the procedure you guys use to take all of the various bits from
git and svn and turn them into a hopefully coherent source tree that can
be built?  I'm having to send you blind patches at the moment because I
don't have time to spend half a morning trying to replicate a build.

If you can give me some quick instructions, I'll be able to actually
test patches before I fire them off :-)
