[openfabrics-ewg] [openib-general] OFED 1.2 - request addition of VNIC as a feature

I wanted a discussion on this topic and I think we have had some
objective inputs on this.  Based on inputs from Madhu, Roland, Woody,
Jamie etc, it is obvious what the path should be - to enable addition of
VNIC into OFA.

I agree with Roland. Trying to prevent someone from developing and
submitting code for their hardware does not seem to be in the spirit
of "open" source or the "Open"Fabrics alliance.
